Astra Online Event Calendar
Astra is an integrated software package for scheduling rooms and events. Depending on venue and event type selected, the information entered may be displayed on the Campus Events Calendar and the Morris campus website
Through a partnership with Google, U of M students, faculty, and staff can access a suite of Google-powered tools designed to enhance our ability to work together.
Handshake is the University's online database to help connect students and alumni with employers, volunteer organizations, and internships across the country.
Qualtrics is an online survey making tool available through the University of Minnesota. It is more secure than free survey building websites. Qualtrics is not only easy to use for basic surveys but also offers features for advanced survey construction, distribution, and reporting.
The Hosting services provides professionally-managed servers (virtual and physical) and database environments for University academic and administrative units. The servers and databases are maintained and managed by Office of Information Technology (OIT) database and systems administrators. This includes maintaining and managing the infrastructure, operating system, storage, backups, security, and patching.
UMReports provides a reporting environment for the University's enterprise systems through two methods to help faculty and staff with operational and management decision making: UM Reports and the Data Warehouse. UM Reports contains pre-built reports to serve common needs.
The University of Minnesota Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a service makes it seem as though you are inside the University network when you cannot be. It enables a more secure connection to the University network when you are: using wireless, connecting from a non-University Internet Service Provider, and transmitting sensitive data accessing restricted University resource.
The University provides access to tools that enable students, faculty, and staff to publish and manage websites ranging from simple personal sites to organizational sites with large amounts of content managed by many people.
